Denon has recently released its flagship amp, AVC-A1H, and a high-powered AV amp, the AVC-X4800H. And ever since then, audiophiles from the UK and Europe have been dying to get their hands on these fantastic AV solutions.

Well, if you are one of them, your prayers have been answered. They are now on sale! Is this your first time hearing about the devices?

In that case, let’s give you a quick introduction. Both the AVC-X4800H and AVC-A1H come with HDMI 2.1 connectivity.

The incredible part is that they both have 8K video support. In fact, they can upscale 4K content to 8K, which makes them perfect for you if you have an 8K TV.

And if you were holding back on upgrading to an 8K TV, this would be the right time! But that is not all that Denon has integrated into the amps.

They have full support for all the 3D sound formats. That includes DTS:X, Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, IMAX Enhanced, and, most importantly, Sony 360 Reality Audio

Wondering why there is a high emphasis on Sony 360 Reality Audio? Because it appeared for the first time in Denon offerings.

Nonetheless, among the two, the star of the show would be the AVC-A1H. It is a direct successor to AVC-A110. And it offers a whopping 15-channel of onboard amplification.

And this is the first biggest upgrade on the amplifier lineup of the brand. In fact, it is bigger than the 110th Anniversary Edition of AVC-A110.

In short, the Denon AVC-A1H does not cut any corners. You will get Dirac Live upgradability, a high-rigidity construction, and a robust power transformer. So, you can wonder why it is the star of the show.

Furthermore, the AVC-A1H can power a 7.4.6 system. And it has the support for processing up to four assignable balanced XLR outputs and four subwoofers.

These features are pretty hard to get by on consumer-grade AV devices. Let’s not forget that the 10 HDMI ports, among which three are outputs and sever are inputs, can support 8K video signals at 60fps.

So, if you hook your home theater system with it, you will indeed have a fantastic experience. That said, the Denon AVC-X4800H is excellent too!

It comes with built-in HEOS and can offer up to 200W of power to each of the nine channels. The device even has Multi-room CI features, allowing you to enhance your home theater setup easily.

So, no matter which one you pick from the two Denon devices, you will be more than happy with the experience and the performance.
