No matter how good TWS (True Wireless Stereo) buds got, they really could not take on the wired headphones or earphones in one factor. That is offering CD-quality sound.

High-resolution audio is generally used to refer to music files that have a higher sampling frequency and/or bit depth than that of Compact Disc Digital Audio (CD-DA), which operates at 44.1 kHz/16-bit

But with the Neobuds Pro S, Edifier is here to change it for good! It is not like any other typical TWS that you will find in the market. And you will soon know why.

First of all, the Edifier NeoBuds Pro S has gone through an intense amount of tuning. The previous version, Edifier NeoBuds, already had a lot going for it.

It came with a proper noise-canceling feature and offered stellar audio quality. But Edifier decided to take things up a notch by making a bookshelf speaker specialist upgrade the earbuds.

However, the thing that makes the most significant difference is the Qualcomm Sound tech. By making the much-touted technology into the equation, Edifier has managed to bring one-of-a-kind TWS into the market.

The originals, Edifier NeoBuds Pro, did manage to create a stir among the audio enthusiasts with the support for Hi-res codecs. It supports LHDC and LDAC. Along with that, it offered a great noise-cancellation feature for the price.

But with the Snapdragon Qualcomm Sound tech, the NeoBuds Pro S will offer the users a whole new music-listening experience.

Basically, Sound tech brings a new Hi-res audio platform. Snapdragon launched it last year, and it aimed to make the wireless earbuds offer wired-like performance. That means you will be capable of enjoying great audio with the convenience that a wireless bud offers.

Other than that, Edifier has upgraded other elements of the NeoBuds Pro S. For example; the buds have new Knowles balanced armature drivers. Those hi-output drives will provide a superior level of sound.

Also, there is an upgraded gaming mode, which promises an 89ms latency in between the connection. And the dual mics on the NeoBuds pro are more capable of capturing a clear voice for calls. Its environment noise cancellation feature got even better.

But there is a catch. To enjoy what the Snapdragon Sound tech has in store, you will need a device enabled with the Snapdragon Sound tech.

So, even with the new Edifier buds, you might not be capable of getting all that it has to offer if your device does not allow you to do so.

Now, when it comes to devices with support for the new Snapdragon Sound tech, there is the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro. But that is pretty much it for the moment. However, the good news is that more and more devices with Qualcomm’s tech inside should appear in the future.
