Crystal-clear calls with advanced mic design and Qualcomm cVc (Clear Voice Capture)

It came with a trifecta of technologies. Of those technologies, the one that made the TW-E5B get a good amount of attention was the Listening Care and True Sound technologies.

According to Yamaha, True Sound combines all digital and acoustic technologies to offer you the music as the artist intended.

And it does a proper job of rendering music in that manner. On the other hand, Listening Care will balance out the low and high frequencies in low volume listening sessions. That will make the difficult-to-hear frequencies easier to catch when the volume is low.

In the long run, the Listening Care technology will help preserve your hearing as you will not need to ramp up the volume of the track in order to listen to intricate parts of it.

The two new TWS buds, the TW-E7b and the TW-ES5A, have both of the technologies in them. Yamaha also decided to spice things up by integrating proper ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) tech into the buds.

Among the two new buds, the E7B has an amped-up form of Listening Care. Yamaha calls it “Listening Care – Advanced.” It factors in the dynamic range, recording levels, and other factors of the music and optimizes the sound at different volume levels.

The robust form of Listening Care will also consider the background noise around you and enhance the music at any given volume.

By adding ANC into the equation, Yamaha is basically offering something known as a triple threat. Nonetheless, the ANC technology of the new buds is pretty unique.

It utilizes the firm’s very own algorithm. And the thing that makes the algorithm unique is its working mechanism. It will analyze the signal from the playback music signal and internal microphone.

Furthermore, the buds boast a 10 mm driver and have acoustic holes on the housing. The holes control the airflow, which will supposedly maximize the overall performance. Also, the buds come with cVc (clear Voice capture) to ensure smooth overall call sessions.

Yamaha also went one step ahead and integrated TrueWireless Mirror. It enables the buds to receive audio signals with higher stability.

There is even an Ambient Sound Mode, which will enable you to be aware of the environment around you. And finally, the Game Mode will reduce the overall latency and allow you to be well ahead of your opponents.

What does the battery department look like? The buds can offer up to six hours of run time. And with the case, you will get another 16 hours of battery life. That totals to 22 hours of run time, which is not bad at all!
