However, multipoint is not the only highlight of this new update. The audio department will get a significant boost. Thanks to 24-bit/96KHz audio, the Momentum True Wireless 3 will now be in-line with the best wired headphones.
Also, the hi-res support can only go as high as 420kbps. That bit rate is still lower than the bit rate that is used by CDs. That means you will not be enjoying a full-fat CD audio-listening experience. So, you can not technically call it true hi-res.
Still, the upgrade to the current audio resolution of the Momentum True wireless 3 is a good thing. It will surely enhance the audio-listening experience that the earbuds can offer.
There will be no need to go through any hassles to enable the hi-res mode either. You just have to turn the feature on through the Smart Control App.
