Sony has just announced the newest AV receiver ranger. The brand-new AV receivers are within the Sony Electronics ES 8K AV lineup and have everything you want.
Firstly, the receivers come with 8K and 4K/120 support. This is the first time Sony has introduced these in their AV receivers.
But that is not even the most important highlight of the lineup. That would be the mapping technology that they come with. So, what exactly is mapping technology?
With the Sony 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology, you to place multiple phantom speakers around the room, creating a much wider listening space.
And that will eventually allow you to get the most authentic cinematic experience at home. There’s also Sony Digital Cinema Auto Calibration IX.
That will feed in the positional information, enabling the Sony Electronics 8K AV lineup receivers to generate a true-to-life and immersive sound.
Furthermore, you have the latest auto-calibration technology developed by Sony. It can correct each speaker’s sound pressure, distance, angle, and frequency response.
And it does that by measuring the speaker’s placement in 3D with the help of an integrated calibration microphone.
That calibration will work along with the Auto Phase Matching technology. It will align the phase of all the speakers. So, with all of these, you will be compensated for the challenging speaker placement you might have in your setup.
On that note, the whole Sony Electronics ES 8K AV lineup is built for custom installations. You will even enjoy advanced IP control compatibility and flexible connectivity. That means you will not need to go through any hassles in terms of the setup process either. What about the build quality?
Sony Electronics ES 8K AV did not cut any corners. The frame base chassis of the receivers are developed for the audio amplifiers.
They combine a transformer base with the conventional frame beam chassis. That enables them to get a high overall stiffness and accuracy.
And most importantly, the frame is now more stabilized than before. Thanks to that, the Sony Electronics ES 8K AV receivers can offer better sound with minimal distortion.
In addition to that, the overall thickness of the Sony Electronics ES 8K AV saw an improvement. The side wall is 120%, and the bottom is 200% thicker than the previous AV receivers of Sony.
Finally, the Sony Electronics ES 8K AV lineup supports all the leading control systems. That includes Control4, Savant and OvrC, Crestron, and other custom integrations. Basically, the entire series is designed for seamless and simple integration.
