Apple and Sony better stay alert because the Bose QuietComfort II can steal their thunder; at least, it seems like that will be the case from the leaks. So, what does the leak have?
Engineered with the world’s most effective noise cancelling. Bose controllable noise cancellation and full Transparency Mode allow you to eliminate distractions, let your surroundings in, or a little bit of each.
So, it had thirteen images and rendered that seemed pretty official. The images and renders got leaked on the German website WinFuture, which is known to be pretty reliable when it comes to leaks.
According to the leak, the Bose QuietComfort II could be closer than expected. It could arrive in just a few weeks. Although, there is no official announcement from Bose about the successor of QuietComfort yet.
But considering how credible the leaker and the website are, you can not really put the timing out of the equation.
There is another factor as well, from the leaks, it seems like Bose is planning to coincide with the rumored arrival of the Apple AirPods Pro 2.
Apple has already posted an invitation regarding the event which is due in September. And from that time, the anticipation for what the event will announce has been growing and growing.
Nonetheless, from the leaked images, it seems like the QuietComfort II will get a refreshed design. The new TWS buds could possibly have a slightly more compact design than the originals.
That will make it easier for the users to wear the TWS buds more discreetly. Even the ear tips and wing tips seemed to have been redesigned by Bose. And according to speculations regarding the design, the new TWS can offer better security, overall fit, and long-term comfort.
But the design is not the only thing Bose will upgrade on the successor of the QuietComfort TWS buds. The thing is, the company is pretty well-known for its Active Noise Cancellation tech. And it seems like the QuietComfort II will get a massive upgrade on that criterion.
In fact, a lot are expecting the ANC performance to be in-line with the top newcomers, which include the Google Pixel Buds Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and Momentum True Wireless 3 from Sennheiser.
So, what about the colorways? The leak suggests that the QuietComfort II will be available in white or black options. That said, one of the major drawbacks of QuietComfort was the battery life.
The bad news is that the QuietComfort II might not see any major battery life upgrade; at least the leaks did not mention it. However, people are hoping the battery life will be around the number that Google, Sennheiser, and Samsung offer with their flagship TWS.
