Best Wireless Headphones
It took me a long time to accept that wireless audio technology had reached a point where I was happy to forgo a wired set of cans and willing to accept HiFi wireless headphones.
In fact, a friend recently reminded me about how militant I was, how fervently I was against Bluetooth or any wireless audio technology. It seems I judged him too harshly when he was considering a set of wireless headphones in the past. What a terrible friend I am…
Now, Bluetooth tech has really come to a point where the bandwidth or transferable data possible is functional. Audiophiles and purists might disagree but we’re at the point where our source is unlikely to be any better so at least its a balanced outcome.
HiFi wireless headphones have several super-advanced headphone options. They offer great sound and a longer-lasting battery times. These are excellent options for those who value sound quality with the convenience provided by wireless headphones.
While good budget wireless headphones exist, this list contains some of my absolute favourites including Bose, Sony and Apple.
The best news is that all this innovation seems to be on an upward trajectory! With ongoing progress in audio-enhancing software, hardware, and wireless technology, we will continue to get even better HiFi wireless headphones.
If you are looking for those perfect HiFi wireless headphones, this is the right list. I really feel this is a fantastic lineup of the best headphones for you to choose from right now.
All these HiFi wireless headphones can be your perfect companions while you listen to your favorite music on the move or even at home or in your music listening room.
Bose QuietComfort 45 HiFi Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones
Not the best looking but certainly one of the best allrounders in Wireless Headphones
TL:DR;
Regular readers will know I have always been a huge fan of the Bose QC35ii. They travelled with me tens of thousands of miles and never let me down. The battery life was good, sound quality great and comfort was second to none. They never got hot or uncomfortable even on a AKL to Dubai 17.5 hour non-stop flight. The active noise-cancelling and wireless power was great.
The QC45 move the QuiteComfort 35 up by adding an additional microphone and improving battery life. The USB-C charging options also speed up charging with a 15 minute charge giving you up to 3 hours of listening. A full charge takes 2.5 hours.
Bose is synonymous with HiFi so it makes sense their QuietComfort 45 make this list as my favourite. Nothing else is as comfortable.
Also consider the beyerdynamic if you you want HiFi wireless headphones without the active noise-canceling.

AKG N60NC Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones
Great bang for buck with these. Smart design, awesome sound, comfortable.

With a very compact design, the AKG N60NC is good-looking and has an excellent fit.

Sony WH-1000XM4 HiFi Wireless Headphones
A top headphone loved and adored (especially by Sony lovers) for good reason
TL:DR;
These HiFi wireless headphones by Sony are highly recommended. They are the most popular headphones globally. And they are quite a big deal with excellent user reviews to support the hype created by the manufacturer. Moreover, the best at their price, the Sony WH-1000XM4, are award winners.
Two of the best features are a significant improvement in sound quality and noise canceling. They are very comfortable to use and offer new and innovative features that will elevate your experience as a user. For example, the ‘speak to chat’ option allows you to speak to someone without moving a muscle while the headphones are on your head.
The Sony headphone provides a fantastic music experience with more confident and composed sounds, particularly in the lower frequencies. Excellent value for money and a great headphone but not my first pick.
I would chose these if you are a fan of the Sony sound signature.

Apple Airpods Max HiFi Wireless Headphones
Apples first real foray in to wireless headphones delivers an expensive but excellent listening experience
No products found.Apple Airpods Max HiFi Wireless Headphones” image_title=”Apple Airpods Max HiFi Wireless Headphones” /]TL:DR;
The best wireless headphones, and the first, from Apple. Although these HiFi wireless headphones are expensive and come with an ugly case, they do sound seriously good.
They are probably also the best wireless headphones for Apple users – just like AirPods they just connect and work so well. The detail, spaciousness, authenticity, and crispness of their audio quality are much more significant than other products in the range. So there is not a lot of point in comparing them to other HiFi headphones.
You will be required to use an iPad or iPhone to use these AirPods. You can use them with other non-Apple products by using the Bluetooth feature. However, you will miss out on using several individualistic features like Siri voice control and spatial audio.
Worth the high price you will pay for the Apple AirPods Max due to its excellent sound quality.
The Specs
- Bluetooth: Yes
- Battery Life: 20 hours
- Active Noise Cancelling: Yes
- Charging: USB-C
- Built-in mic and controls: Yes
Stuff I like
- Cinematic spatial audio
- Superb sound
- Active Noise-canceling
- Exceptional quality build
Stuff I like less
- Audio cable not added
- Case is a little ridiculous and somewhat pointless
- Aimed at Apple fans
