By launching the Bluesound NODE X Wireless limited edition music streamer, Bluesound is basically celebrating its 10th anniversary in producing and delivering audio products.

But the NODE X limited edition music streamer is unlike most limited edition products. It takes the performance to a brand new level.

According to the Product Manager of Bluesound, Matt Simmonds, “The NODE X re-imagines some of the best parts of the critically acclaimed, iconic NODE’s product design – our most popular model – and takes’ just add streaming’ to new performance levels for the next generation of audiophiles. I’m particularly excited to see how our customers use the NODE X with their favorite pair of performance headphones.”

But what upgrades does the limited edition of Bluesound NODE X bring to the table? Among all, there’s the addition of the ESS 9028Q2M Sabre DAC, which is an all-time favorite for audiophiles.

It makes the music streamer capable of delivering near-zero levels of clock jitter, wide dynamic range, and ultra-low noise.

In addition to that, the Bluesound NODE X brings cutting-edge THX AAA technology. This tech has the patented feed-forward error correction.

That results in infinitesimally low levels of noise. And let’s not forget to mention its ability to keep the distortion level stays at all times low.

There’s a 1/4-inch headphone jack, which aims to deliver a no-compromise listening experience through headphones.

And when it comes to the streaming aspect, the Bluesound NODE X features dual-band WiFi to ensure the best wireless stream quality.

On that note, there’s support for more than 20 integrated music services. That includes Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify.

You also have access to loads of internet radio stations. Alternatively, you can play your favorite music through a local storage device with the BluOS app.

That app is available for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac devices. And most importantly, the BluOS integration makes the Bluesound NODE X capable of streaming 24-bit/192kHz hi-res audio.

It even brings support for MQA playback and lossless file formats. Connectivity-wise, the Bluesound NODE X offers multiple inputs and outputs.

That includes HDMI eARC, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, aptX HD Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and USB Type-A. You will also have the freedom to seamlessly group the Bluesound NODE X with Bluesound speakers. That will enable you to create an intuitive multi-room music system.

The music streamer even has support for Apple Siri, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa. Thanks to these, controlling the parameters of the device will be a piece of cake.
