What are 5 songs you could always listen to and never really get sick of?
Whether you’re a regular here at Make Life Click, or your new to the site, it’s likely you either have a passion for music or movies…or both.
We’ve done our list of music to test a HiFi system with which is a much better well rounded list if you’re looking for something a little deeper.
For a bit of fun we though it might be cool to open it up to you to list the top 5 songs you could always listen to without getting tired. Short and simple.
You don’t have to go in to detail, unless you want to explain what you love about each song, but just the list is fine. Add yours in the comments here
Here’s our current list (because things can change, right?)
Songs I never get tired of listening too:
- Brother in Arms – Dire Straits
- Edie (Ciao Baby) – The Cult
- Hey Now – London Grammar
- The Blower’s Daughter – Damien Rice
- Hush Yael – Oh, Sleeper.
Your turn. Add the top 5 songs you never tire of in comments here.
Why do people choose the songs they do?
I find songs normally stick with people for a couple of reasons.
1: The song defines a time in life that was important to them, often a happy time in their youth.
2: The song evokes an emotional reaction each time it plays. Like the drop in Lydia by Highly Suspect where he can’t f*****g breathe after the breakdown.

1 Comfortably Numb – Pink Floyd
2 Stairway to Heaven – Led Zeppelin
3 One – Metallica
4 Hotel California – Eagles

Totally agree. I think Comfortably Numb has to be one of the all-time greatest hits ever! The guitar solo in the second section is just epic.
