You need to halt your search for the best wireless earbuds for a while, as the Jabra Elite 10 and 8 Active are about to drop soon! The two brand-new models have just been leaked.
And from what it seems, Jabra is pretty much ready to unroll the curtains for both models. Among the two, the Jabra Elite 8 Active looks more enticing, as the Active lineup from Jabra has been well-received by runners and fitness fans.
And let’s not forget that the Jabra Elite 7 Active has had a great run. It’s one of the best sport wireless earbuds you can get on the market.
Nonetheless, according to the leak, both the Jabra Elite 10 and 8 Active will come with some big changes. First, the Elite 8 Active will likely be more resilient than its predecessor.
According to the report, the buds will feature an IP68 rating, while the case will be certified for IP54. These enhanced IP ratings mean that the buds can handle tough environments better than the Elite 7 Active.
But it’s not just the build quality that will see an upgrade. The report suggests that the Elite 8 Active will come with Dolby Audio support.
So, the audio profile of the Elite 8 Active will be more immersive. Moreover, the report says that the Jabra Elite 8 Active will come with “Adaptive Hybrid” noise canceling.
While it’s not yet clear what that noise cancellation tech can deliver, it will likely improve the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) tech found in the predecessor. So the buds should react better to external sounds.
The Jabra Elite 10 and 8 Active leak has also shed light on the Jabra Elite 10. According to the report, the buds will boast “Jabra Advanced ANC.”
Again, it’s not yet clear how much improvement this ANC tech will offer. But it will definitely be better than its predecessors.
In addition, the leak suggests that the Jabra Elite 10 will feature Dolby Atmos. So, among Jabra Elite 10 and 8 Active, the Jabra Elite 10 will be better if you want to experience redefined sound.
That’s not all! The report has also hinted that the Elite 10 will have Made for iPhone certification, leading to a better experience for iOS users.
And it will have Spotify Tap and Google Fast Pair. These features will reportedly be available in the Jabra Elite 8 Active.
There’s no concrete pricing information available about the Jabra Elite 10 and 8 Active. But the new buds will likely debut with the same price range as the Elite 7 Active and Elite 7 Pro.
