Earlier this year, PSB, one of the first HiFi loudspeaker brands, announced its new PSB M4U wireless headphones.
The lineup consisted of M4U TWM wireless earbuds and the M4U 9 wireless headphones. Both models are worthy additions to the high-performance M4U line of PSB.
Now, both the new wireless solutions from PSB are on sale. In other words, if you’re looking forward to getting one of the models after the announcement, you can now purchase one.
Missed our coverage of the official announcement of the PSB M4U 9 and TWM wireless headphones? In that case, you’d want to know all that the new models have to offer, right?
Let’s start with the PSB M4U 9. At the core, it’s a premium Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) headphones that improve on the award-winning design of the M4U 8.
For the build, PSB has opted for premium materials, making the pair of headphones offer a high-end experience. But what’s more important is that the wireless ANC headphone comes with adaptive audio technologies.
PSB has partnered with Audiodo Personal Sound to deliver this feature on their new releases. Combined with PSB’s RoomFeel technology, you get an audio profile that’s specifically meant for your ears.
In addition to that, the PSB M4U 9 utilizes new graphene-infused drivers. These drivers improve stiffness, damping, and efficiency. As a result, you get a sound that comes with a “true-to-nature” sonic signature.
The headphone also integrates aptX Adaptive, allowing you to enjoy high-resolution wireless streaming. There’s support for 24-bit high-definition audio, which’ll bring the best out of your favorite tracks.
And for utilizing an advanced Bluetooth chipset, you get easy and fast pairing with your mobile devices. Other than that, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of the PSB M4U 9 is pretty advanced.
It utilizes a digital MEMS microphone to lower audio conversion errors, resulting in pure and noise-free listening. You’ll find two additional microphones for cVc (Clear Voice Capture). Those are there to enhance your call experience.
Moving on, you have the PSB M4U TWM. It’s a True Wireless Stereo (TWS) micro planar earphone. The TWM utilizes powerful Magneto-Static technology in a hybrid planar dual driver design.
It’s the same technology that you’ll find in the high-end magneto loudspeakers of PSB. When it comes to sound, the PSB M4U TWM comes with enhanced aptX Adaptive Bluetooth.
This tech keeps the latency and playback low at an adaptive bit rate. So, the drivers excel in delivering deep lush bass, natural midrange, and crisp highs.
Both offerings have great battery life. With the TWM, you get up to 32 hours of playtime, while the M4U 9 can deliver up to 25 hours in Active Mode.
