Own a Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro? Samsung just announced that it will be improving how the ambient sound works on the buds. And the announcement came at the right time. Wondering why?
Global Accessibility Awareness Day is pretty much around the corner! Nonetheless, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro’s new feature will feature two additional amplification levels. That means that the Galaxy Wearable app will have a total of five levels of amplification.
In addition, users of the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro will be able to independently set the volume of the left and right earbuds. This will offer greater control over how the wireless earbuds sound.
Most importantly, the new update will let the users fine-tune the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) buds according to their hearing needs.
For example, you could set the output of one earbud to offer loud and clear audio while the other can output quieter and softer sound.
But that is not all. Alongside this update to the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Samsung is also introducing a new tool for the Galaxy Wearable.
Named Adapt Ambient Sound, the tool will allow “even more clarity in helping users hear the world around them better.”
And if it is like anything Apple offers, Adaptive Ambient Sound on the Buds2 Pro might automatically allow external sounds to get through the buds at critical moments.
If you are wondering, the Adaptive Transparency is a step up from the regular Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) mode. It is pretty useful when you do not want to take your wireless earbuds off while traveling.
So, when is the update coming to the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro? According to Samsung, it will arrive to the users in the coming weeks.
However, there is no guaranteed availability. As Samsung states, the availability may vary from one market to another and one smartphone model to another.
Moreover, no explicit confirmation regarding whether the update will be available globally exists. Therefore, you have to wait for Samsung to make a proper announcement regarding the feature to learn more about the upcoming features.
But the update will revamp your experience with the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro. It will also make the wireless buds more user-friendly and offer more controls to your hands.
It will make the TWS Buds more competitive against the Apple AirPods Pro 2. And more competition is always a great thing!
