The Samsung Freestyle Projector

Unlike what you have in mind when you hear the word “projector,” the Samsung Freestyle lives up to its name by being insanely portable. Samsung advertises that you can hold and bring this around with just one hand.

In addition, the stand is built-in and can be tilted and rotated as needed. It can be easily adjusted, which is great for projecting at any surface in any room, whether you want to use it on the wall or ceiling.

The compact size of the Samsung Freestyle Projector makes it the perfect travel companion, or effortless to stow away in small living spaces when not in use. You can also use this on the go as Samsung sells an external battery pack for this projector. While it may be able to work with third-party power banks as well, the company won’t claim any responsibility for what happens in these scenarios.

So how is it as a projector and central entertainment device?

As mentioned earlier, this projector’s claim to fame is its ability to shoot an image up to 100 inches in size. That’s humongous. Of course, the size can be scaled down to as low as 30 inches if that’s all your space permits.

Apart from that, it comes with Smart Calibration that detects the color of your wall and adjusts the colors to provide an optimal viewing experience. LED technology incorporates unparalleled levels of vibrancy in every shade, effectively making you feel like you’re a cast member in whatever you’re watching. Content can be viewed in up to 1080p Full HD resolution, fully compatible with PurColor and HDR.

It also has Auto Keystone and Auto Levelling software that automatically adjusts the image to be straight and aligned to your wall at all times.

On the UI side of things, the Freestyle has Samsung’s Tizen Smart TV UX onboard. It’s an intuitive design that’s been tried and tested across the company’s established lineup of consumer products.

When not being used as a movie marathon device, it has some captivating features on standby too. Most notable is Ambient mode where it’s committed to providing the perfect ambiance for any occasion. It can flash patterns, scenes, and prisms on the walls as needed.

Other interesting features include Bixby voice assistant which you may be familiar with from the smartphones, as well as Mobile Mirroring for Android and iOS. It also has Tap to Mirror specifically for Galaxy devices.

How Much Is The Samsung Freestyle Now?
