New Amazfit Cheetah Smartwatch is the latest addition to the smartwatch portfolio of the brand. To be exact, there are two new additions.

One is called Cheetah, while the other is Cheetah Pro. Both are geared toward runners. But there are many other sport-centric smartwatches out there. What makes the Cheetah lineup unique?

The main thing that makes the Cheetah smartwatches stand out is the Zepp Coach. It is a generative AI that can create your own running plan.

And, no, the workout plan that it will generate will not be random. Instead, Zepp Coach will check the information you enter in the Zepp mobile app.

It will consider all those info to offer you a customized plan for workouts that will help you train for a big race.

With the passage of each training session, the Zepp Coach of Amazfit Cheetah watch will adjust the plan.

Through that, the smartwatch can make it easier to push your body over the limit and achieve more.

It’s worth noting that Amazfit Cheetah Smartwatch is not the first to bring something like Zepp Coach. Previously, Huawei has brought out something similar for its Watch GT Runner. That watch also comes with an AI coach.

However, unlike the AI coach of Huawei, you can use the Zepp smartphone app to get answers to fitness-related questions.

According to Amazfit, the interaction between the chatbot will be very much like a personal trainer. But unlike a personal trainer, Zepp Coach AI will be with you 24/7. That will let you push yourself further to achieve all your fitness goals.

However, you should note that the feature is available “for a short demo period” in select regions. Afterward, it will become a “subscription-based service.” So, the 24/7 smart AI coach will not be free, just like a regular personal trainer.

Other than that, both the Amazfit Cheetah smartwatches come with highly-accurate GPS technology. It’s called MaxTrack, and it can follow runners through different environmental obstacles, from tall trees to skyscrapers.

With the data that the technology collects, you can create your own running route. Other notable features of the Amazfit Cheetah watch lineup include a heart rate tracker, sharing running routes through third-party apps such as Google Fit, and enhanced battery life.

However, your experience with the battery life can vary as it can run out of charge pretty fast if you are using all the features all the time. For example, with heavy usage, the battery of the Amazfit Cheetah Smartwatch will last for only a week.

Besides that, the lineup comes with HD AMOLED displays that can offer a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. There’s support for Bluetooth calling, offline music playback, and connecting to a pair of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) buds.
