Apple-owned Beats does not really have anything else to announce regarding the upcoming Beats Studio Buds Plus release.
But Amazon has recently accidentally put the buds on its listing. That made everyone know what the buds would pack and what new things they would bring.
Now, you probably didn’t have the chance to catch the Amazon leak. Well, in that case, all you have to know is that the Studio Buds Plus is a proper upgrade from the regular Studio Buds.
Most importantly, the Studio Buds Plus is not even pricier than the regular ones. Wondering what’s so great about the upcoming Beats earbuds?
To start with, the brand-new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) buds will come in a new color. Known as “Transparent,” the new color option of the Beats buds takes heavy inspiration from the Nothing Ear (2).
To be exact, it even looks better than the TWS earbuds from Nothing. Now, transparent is not the only available color option. You can also get the new buds in ivory and solid black options.
Regarding the design, the Beats Studio Buds Plus has pretty much the same look as the regular model and that is not a bad thing.
The regular one was a pair of excellent Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) TWS buds that excelled in comfort. With a similar footprint, the case will be the same for Studio Buds Plus.
In fact, the inclusion of new acoustic vents will significantly enhance the comfort level of the Beats Studio Buds Plus.
According to the listing, these vents will relieve pressure to deliver an all-day fit. Other than just enhancing comfort, the vents will also improve audio precision.
And there’s a chance that the new Studio Buds Plus will be lighter than the regular version, which was 4.85 ounces. In comparison, the new buds are 3.87 ounces.
In addition to that, the new buds bring better ANC features. At least, that’s what the Amazon listing suggested.
The buds will have three times larger microphones than the previous iteration. And that will make the buds offer “1.6” times better ANC performance than the regular version.
Moreover, the spec sheet refers to a “powerful processor,” which might be a new Apple chipset. No matter what, as we are talking about Beats here, it will be directly compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
Lastly, the battery life of the Beats Studio Buds Plus will see a significant improvement. With the charging case, you may get up to 36 hours of run time.
