The Back to School campaign is pretty popular among the brands. At its core, it is basically a campaign for the students. Although most of the big brands participated in such a campaign throughout the years, Apple did not, at least not until the last announcement they made.
Up to 12 hours of listening time, All-day comfort with Flex-Form cable and four eartip options and Powered by the Apple W1 headphone chip for seamless connectivity
But Apple had its twist on the campaign. Basically, you will get a $150 gift card when you purchase selected products from Apple. But that is on the hardware side of the campaign.
Apple has also set up a special offer for the new student subscribers to Apple Music. If you are eligible for the Apple Music student plan, you can score Beats Flex earphones for free!
That said, the offer is only valid in the United Kingdom and the United States. And you will have to be a new subscriber to Apple Music to participate in the campaign. But that is not all. You must also comply with some terms and conditions to score the Beats Flex.
As Apple states, you can not combine this offer with other Apple Music offers. And as mentioned earlier, you will not be eligible for the free gift if your account was already subscribed to Apple Music.
Also, you will only be able to order the Beats Flex for free after paying the first month’s subscription, which means you can not get the offer while in the one-month trial period of Apple Music.
After the 30 days of trial, students will receive a mail from Apple, which will have the instructions to order the Beats Flex for free. So, what about the options in terms of colors? That will depend on availability.
Wondering when the offer will end? According to Apple, this is an Apple Music “limited time” offer. And Apple did not provide any details regarding when they plan to end the campaign.
Now, for those that are unaware of Beats Flex, it is an entry-level wireless earphone from Apple. Unlike the modern offerings, such as AirPods and Beats earbuds, Beats Flex is not exactly truly wireless.
Instead, it falls under the “neckband” category. However, there are some similarities to the modern offerings of Apple. That is, the Beats Flex has the same W1 chip that you will find in some of the recent Apple Airpods and Beats TWS (True Wireless Stereo) buds.
The Beats Flex also has Class 1 Bluetooth, which will ensure a stable connection for Android and iOS devices. The battery life is pretty praiseworthy as well. With a single charge, the Beats Flex can offer up to 12 hours of battery life. Also, it comes with a modern USB-C Cable.
