Basically, you can connect any single digital or analog device with the system with the HUB. That includes CD or TV players, turntables, and other devices that did not get the love of BluOS.
And it will allow the audio output from those devices to transmit wirelessly and become a part of the Bluesound system.
With the HUB, you can finally make your non-BluOS system work with the streamers such s the Powernode and Node. In fact, you can make them work with any of the wireless speakers that Bluesound is offering at the moment.

When it comes to the connection ports, you will find HDMI eARC, stereo analog RCA inputs, and digital optical. But you need to note that one HUB can only manage a single non-BluOS device.
However, you will have the ability to connect up to four HUBs within the same network. In other words, you can make four of the non-BluOS work with the system if you want to.
Other than that, you will also find line-level input that will have a built-in phono stage.
According to Bluesound, that built-in moving magnet will make the HUB work like a networked wide-bandwidth, low noise phono pre-amp. Eventually, it will be capable of transmitting high-quality audio transmissions of any of the vinyl records that you might have in your possession.

Wondering what the HUB runs on? BluOS! And for running on that device, you can add each HUB to a wider streaming system. It even comes with a setup wizard that you can find on the controller app of Bluesound. And that wizard will walk you through the entire process.
Along with that, it has a 1/3 rach width and 1 U height. For having such dimensions, you can discretely hide it on a shelf. You can even mount it in four different orientations. In other words, you will have tons of options in terms of the installation process.
When it comes to the release date, you can get your hands on the HUBs from mid-June. Now, that mid-June is really not that far. And considering how much of features the HUBs are bringing to the table, there are a lot of the BlueOS device owners waiting for it.
So, if you are planning to get your hands on one of these, you need to keep a close eye on the distributing partners and official site during the release dates.
