Mytek Audio has recently announced the Brooklyn Bridge II. At the core, the device is a brand-new all-in-one streamer/DAC/Preamp powered by Roon.
As the name suggests, the Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core also combines a Roon Core server with the DAC, Preamp, and streamer.
That’s not all! The Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core even comes with a headphone amplifier and a phono MM MC input.
In other words, the all-in-one has everything that you would ever need to get the most out of your favorite tracks.
Nonetheless, the Brooklyn Bridge II is unlike any other all-in-one device. It sticks with a simplified setup process, enabling you to get the Roon-based system up and running in no time.
In fact, you will just need an internet connection, speakers with amplifiers, and a Roon subscription to get the system started.
On the note of amplifiers, if you want, you can bundle the Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core with Mytek Brooklyn AMP+ to power the paired speakers.
And in that case, you should note that the AMP+ is a separate unit that acts like a high-end power amplifier. It features a power output of up to 300W to each channel into 8 ohms.
Getting back to the Roon-based system, the all-in-one allows users to control the system with a tablet or smartphone. The unit even has a touchscreen display in the front, which you can use to control the playback.
Besides that, the Brooklyn Bridge II comes in two versions. Depending on how much music you like to store in the internal storage, you can get the 4TB or 64GB version.
The all-in-one streamer comes in different color finishes: black and silver. Both the finishes look great and blend exceptionally well with different setups.
Most importantly, the unit supports high-resolution streaming services, including Tidal and Qobuz. The Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core features an auxiliary Bluetooth 5 input to make things easier.
That will provide instant connectivity to the radio sources and the internet. Other than that, the Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core comes with the Mytek OS operating system.
With the integrated Intel i5 processor, the OS offers smooth and stable overall performance. Finely tuned volume controls provide you with a choice of analog or digital.
The device also comes with headphones, RCA, and XLR outputs. And in case you were wondering, the Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core packs an ESS Sabre ES9028Pro 8-channel chipset inside. That brings support for MQA, DXD, and DSD256 files.
