Looking for a super-flexible integrated amplifier that has an extremely compact form factor? You can stop your hunt right away because Pro-Ject has just debuted the MaiA DS3. Although the new amp might be tiny in size, it is the ultimate HiFi upgrade that your setup needs!

According to the brand, the new amp has covered all the digital and analog bases, which will amaze even the most discerning HiFi fanatic. And they are not wrong!

The Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 has a total of nine separate inputs. And considering how small the device is, nine inputs is a lot!

The clean sweep of digital inputs includes two optical S/PDIF, coax S/PDIF, and USB input. The last one is for Delta-Sigma DAC, which is an onboard 32bit/192 kHz DAC.

In addition to that, you have a fully-fledged wireless option. The Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and aptX HD support. That will take care of all your high-resolution audio streaming needs.

If you are a vinyl head, there is a piece of good news for you! The Pro-Ject MaiA DS3 has support for moving coil and moving magnet cartridges. You will be able to connect your turntable to the amp without any issues at all.

In comparison, the output array of the MaiA DS3 is much beefier than the previous iterations. The total output power for each channel is 140 watts at 4 ohms, making the amp the right pick for power-hungry stereo speakers.

You will be blown away by the low-end sounds coming from the amp when you connect a subwoofer. Yes, it has a dedicated output port for subwoofers. And on the front, there is a 6.3 mm headphone socket, which will enable private listening.

The control panel is minimalistic but has all the essential controls you will need. That includes an analog volume control that has a motor-driven potentiometer

Overall, it is a premium amplifier with a lot of potential. But you should note that the MSRP is also on the premium end.

Pro-Ject has also debuted an entry-level Stereo Box integrated amp, the Stereo Box S3 BT. It comes with an output power rating of 40 watts for each channel at 4 ohms. And most importantly, you can keep two devices connected to it at the same time.

There are RCA jacks on the rear, along with a 3.5 mm variable jack. The latter can power a proper subwoofer. It also has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity and has support for aptX HD. So, you can easily send your favorite tracks from your mobile.
