Two special events have been announced by Reference Audio, a luxurious HiFi showroom in Witham, Essex, UK.
Reference audio is built on years of hard work and experience working with the world’s finest audio manufacturers. Revel, Mark Levinson, Lexicon, JBL Synthesis, Ayre Acoustics, Wilson Audio, Dan D’Agostino Master Audio Systems, and Transparent Cable are the brands they represent in the Benelux as an authorized importer. Their merchandise is available through a select dealer network.
They launched the Reference Sounds Experience Center in Almere at the beginning of 2021 to help their dealers and their fantastic brands. A site where they want everyone to learn about their amazing products and services.

On Saturday, May 7th, and Sunday, May 8th, 2022, the audio event will have a Chord Electronics Open Day, followed by a McIntosh and Sonus Faber Opening Day on Friday, May 27th, and Saturday, May 28th, 2022. These events will be hosted by Bob, Adam, and Mitch from Reference Audio and Chord Electronics and Fine, Sounds the UK, the UK distributor for Sonus Faber and McIntosh.
Across Reference Audio’s permanent demo rooms, the CHORD ELECTRONICS open day will highlight the whole range of Chord Electronics’ current products, including some you have not seen before.
Chord’s rarely seen ‘Big-Rig’ system, consisting of the Ultima Reference Pre and Ultima Reference Monobloc power amps, will deliver 780w of pure Chord power to drive some of the showroom’s most high-end loudspeakers, will be shown in the main Reference Room.

The Chord Ultima Pre 2 and Ultima 3 Monoblocs will be on display in the three upstairs Demo Rooms, along with various other Chord Electronics goods such as streamers, DACs, upscale, integrated amps, and lifestyle accessories. The majority will continually be used for live demonstrations, while others will be on rotational static exhibits.
And the second event is the Mcintosh and Sonus Faber opening day. Fine Sounds will be on standby throughout the show in May to provide assistance on the McIntosh, Sonus Faber, and IsoTek equipment that they distribute in the UK and to answer any queries you may have.
The open days will use Reference Audio’s permanent demo rooms to their maximum extent, with the main Reference Room displaying the McIntosh 901 monoblocs alongside appropriately sized Sonus Faber speakers.

During the afternoons, the Movie theater Room will showcase a 7.4.4 channel McIntosh system featuring a full McIntosh AV rig comprising a MI128 eight-channel amp, MC255 five-channel amp, and MX100 AV Processor, as well as a 4m widescreen and six-pack subs.
The three upstairs demo rooms will feature a variety of McIntosh, Sonus Faber, and IsoTek products on live demonstration. The latest Sonus Faber Omnia Wireless Speaker will also be displayed at the event.
The events will be pretty well-organized. There are lots of off-street parking facilities accessible at Reference Audio. There will be coffee and snacks at these events as well. So, hurry up and book your tickets now!
