The SVS Prime Wireless Speaker represents a seismic shift in the world of audio because it refutes the notion that smart wireless speakers can’t provide a thrilling and immersive audio experience.
SVS is positioning the new speaker in a position where it can meet all your home audio demands. In other words, the Prime Wireless Pro is acting like an all-in-one solution.
The speaker comes with one powered and one passive speaker. It can offer up to a two-channel array with a 200-watt amplifier. SVS has also integrated a precisely tuned digital crossover and a 192KHz/24-bit DAC.
So, you can consider the Prime Wireless Pro as a full-fledged speaker. Furthermore, there are aluminum dome tweeters that are 1-inch large. The Prime Wireless Pro also comes with mid-bass drivers that are 5.25-inch in size.
And according to SVS, all of these components “ensure massive dynamic output without a trace of distortion and a much bigger sounding speaker than the cabinet size would suggest.”
Other than that, the Prime Wireless Pro can offer hi-res audio through Chromecast, Airplay 2, and Wi-Fi. You will even have the option to stream audio through Bluetooth, and it has support for both AAC and aptX codecs.
There is also support for Spotify Connect. And if you want to, you can control the Prime Wireless Pro with iOS through Airplay 2 and Android through Chromecast.
You will even have the option to control the speaker through the DTS Play-Fi app, which is available on both PC and mobile.
You will also get a physical remote. This remote comes with six preset buttons, enabling you to quickly access your favorite services and playlists. Also, the Prime Wireless Pro has support for virtual assistants.
On the note of DTS Play-Fi, it brings support for multi-room audio. That means you can completely revamp your audio setup with the speakers.
Alongside that, as the speakers come with HDMI with support for eARC and ARC, you can also use the Prime Wireless Pro as a soundbar. There are ports available for line level, 3.5 mm, optical, subwoofer output, and Ethernet.
The Prime Wireless Pro is available in two color options. It comes in Piano Gloss White and Piano Gloss Black colorways. Both of them will look great in any setup you throw them in.
